Yosemite Facelift September 20 – 24, 2023

Save 10% Off Lodging, and Trade Trash for Spa Treatments!

We’re honored to partner with the Yosemite Climbing Association to bring stewardship and volunteerism to our favorite local areas.

Yosemite Facelift is an annual stewardship project started 20 years ago by Ken Yager.  He’s a thoughtful Yosemite climber and guide who just wanted all of us to enjoy Yosemite without careless litter ruining our visit and our beloved park.

Yosemite Facelift Bag 2021

Now, people of all ages and abilities come from all over the world to contribute anything from one hour of simple trail or roadside trash collection to several days of major  cleanups.

It’s grown into a week-long event that’s filled with fun and camaraderie that transcends all boundaries, and has found its way into more than 20 additional locations throughout America.

Yosemite Facelift has collected over a million pounds of random Yosemite trash in the past 20 years.

You can participate in person or virtually in your own neighborhood, but you do need to pre-register at yosemiteclimbing.org

If you’d like to stay with us for Facelift this year, we have two pieces of really good news for you…

If the sun is shining, get ready to dodge melting ‘snow bombs’ as they fall from the tops of the trees.  Beauty and comedy combined – what could be better?

On the Road Again…

If you’re leaving Rush Creek Lodge using Highway 120 West, you’ll pass through the charming Old West town of Groveland. You may want to stop by a locally loved coffee shop, Mountain Sage Coffee & Nursery, where you can sip on lovingly prepared beverages and home-baked goods in their enchanting gardens.
