Your Backstage Pass to Yosemite: Rush Creek Lodge
Weekly Events, September 3rd – October 13th, 2019
Staying with us at Rush Creek Lodge is like having a backstage pass to Yosemite. Every day our Recreation Desk is staffed with Yosemite experts who are ready and waiting to help you plan your perfect Yosemite adventure, away from the crowds, up close and personal with Yosemite’s hidden gems and local favorites.
We also host all sorts of fun daily activities at the lodge, including guest favorites like roasting s’mores over the outdoor fire. This Fall we’re taking it even further with a series of additional entertaining, relaxing, and inspiring moments to top off your Yosemite adventures like a rock star.
You’re in for a double treat with some of our favorite local wine combined with the endlessly entertaining company of our efervescent General Manager, Joe J. He’ll be pouring a variety of vintages from Yosemite Cellars, producers of fine wines made exclusively from their estate vineyard in nearby Groveland. The wine is sure to please your palate, and Joe J. will most certainly put a smile on your face!
Wednesdays 5pm – 7pm: Wellness Wednesdays – Body & Spirits!
Our Wellness Team of certified massage therapists are popping up Chair Massages in the Tavern. So after a long day exploring the park, you can treat yourself to a free mini-massage and then take advantage of 20% off select botanical cocktails in the Tavern. Keep an eye out for the occasional pop-up mini Yoga session as well!
Thursdays 5pm – 7pm: Mixology with Doug
Ask anyone who’s ever visited the Tavern when Doug is around, and they’ll tell you countless stories of not only how much fun he is, but how delicious his signature cocktails are. From 5pm to 7pm on Thursdays this Fall, Doug will be hosting a custom mixology station where you can sample some of his home made concoctions for free, and enjoy 20% off your purchase of select cocktails and mocktails.
Saturdays 5pm – 7pm: Nature Walk with Recreation
This year we opened three new nature trails in partnership with the Stanislaus National Forest, adjacent to Rush Creek. Round out your day with a fun, easy stroll through our local forest, hosted by one of our friendly Recreation Guides.
Sundays 5pm – 7pm: Game Day with Chef Lemens
Chef wants everyone to know that visiting Yosemite on a Sunday doesn’t mean you have to miss your favorite team. He loves working with game to create delicious dishes, and he loves Sunday Game Day, so he’s making Sunday football better than ever with his own take on savory “Game Day” bites for you to sample in the Tavern.
