You may have heard news of the Ferguson wildfire near Yosemite, which resulted in the temporary closure of parts of the park recently. You’ll be happy to know that fire-related activities are winding down, and a wonderful Yosemite experience awaits you!
Yosemite Valley Reopened August 14th
We’re excited to share the great news that Yosemite Valley reopened Tuesday, August 14th! Most other parts of the park are already open, including the Hetch Hetchy region, Yosemite’s High Country and Tuolumne Meadows, and the Tuolumne and Mariposa Groves of Giant Sequoias.
As of August 30th, all roads within Yosemite have reopened!
