While the crew is hard at work putting the finishing touches on our new resort, some of us are having more than their fair share of the fun. What could be better than planning and testing the menu items that will delight all of our visitors?
Although that job is taken, you can get in on the fun with this sneak peek at one of the signature Yosemite cocktails we’ll be serving, courtesy of the creative mind of our beloved Tavern Manager, Douglas Salles, whom many of you will recognize from the Evergreen. Inspired by his Brazilian roots, the “Primo Highway 120” features Cachaca, the most popular spirit in Brazil, which is distilled from sugarcane juice.
The refreshing “Primo Highway 120” is sure to breathe new life into our guests upon arriving at the lodge this summer. You’ll be able to enjoy this tasty concoction poolside, on our outdoor dining deck, in the Restaurant or Tavern, or lounging around one of our outdoor fireplaces. Liven up your afternoon or evening by taking your “Primo Highway 120” to-go, and enjoy your beverage while you stroll the property and check out our fly casting pond, pan for gold in our stream, or relax and watch the beautiful Sierra sunset on the private deck of your room or villa.
The Primo Highway 120

Put the blueberries, strawberries, mint and lemon simple syrup in a cocktail shaker with a few ice cubes and muddle. Fill the shaker with ice, shake it and strain into a highball glass filled with ice. Top off with the San Pellegrino Limonata, and garnish with mint, blueberries and a strawberry.
Sit back, relax and enjoy!
