Until our new spa opens in Spring 2020, you can choose from a dozen therapeutic treatments offered by our wellness team in our lovely Massage Studios just a few steps from your room.  Every treatment includes our signature combination of elements reflecting our natural surroundings: stone, sound, scent and warmth.

We also invite you to breathe in the rare beauty of Yosemite through one of our professionally guided Yoga or Boga programs.

Whether you’ve spent a long day on the trail or a relaxing day at the lodge, your body and mind will thank you for time well spent in the capable hands of our wellness team.  You can enjoy your massage in the serene and welcoming setting of our private massage suites or at our sister property the Evergreen Lodge in their massage cabanas nestled among towering pines.

Our therapists specialize in various styles of massage and offer the following treatments:

  • Rush Creek Signature – Our signature treatment is an energy balancing experience that integrates Swedish techniques with hot stone, sound therapy, and a personalized chakra crystal treatment. Your chakra stones are your gift to take with you for continued focus and relaxation at home.
    80 minutes – $195

  • Swedish – Unwind with a relaxing massage that improves circulation and vitality while easing muscle tension through a variety of gentle techniques. Pressure is customized to your preference.
    50/80 minutes- $120/150

  • Deep Tissue – This intensive therapy targets specific areas of muscle tension, releasing tightness and reducing pain through the use of firm pressure to separate, lengthen and restore muscle fibers.
    50/80 minutes – $140/170

  • Synergy Hot Stone – This treatment involves heated basalt river stones to elevate your inner senses and bring you into a state of tranquility. Incorporated into this treatment is a full-body Swedish massage, with additional relaxation provided through the use of heat and organic oils.

  • Pregnancy Massage – Mindful of your extraordinary circumstances, our highly trained massage therapist will settle you into a safe, secure and restful position. Using adaptable massage techniques appropriate for your stage of pregnancy we ease the stress of your body and mind

  • Custom Massage – Concentrate on a specific areas of muscle tension with this completely tailored treatment. With light to firm options, achieve your treatment goals on a targeted area of your choice.
    25 minutes $70

  • Hand, Foot & Scalp Massage – This energizing trio features medium to firm pressure massage of the hands, feet, and scalp, complemented with aromatherapy to ease stress, soothe dry hands/feet and improve circulation.

  • Stretching and Compression – Exploring new trails can be a strain to your muscles, so allow us to show you the benefits of assisted stretch alongside our professionally trained and certified Massage Therapists. They can help you stretch those sore muscles to the safe limits to promote ease of pain and encourage healing.

Rush Creek Boga

Boga Pose (Jim Brewer Photography)Boga Relaxation (Jim Brewer Photography)Spring through Fall be sure to bring your swimsuit and join us for a fun new Boga board workout on (and in!) our heated saltwater swimming pool.  You'll have a good laugh while getting a good workout!

Our Boga boards feel like a cross between a paddle board and a Yoga mat, so you float on top of the water, tethered to the side of the pool, while we walk you through a series of movements that combine elements of strength, balance, and FUN!

Boga at Rush Creek is available by request or as part of our regularly scheduled program:

  • Small Group Boga Session- Join our innovative and fun Bogafit aquatic fitness class! Our certified instructors will combine the best aspects of yoga, Pilates, and boot camp workouts in this unique fitness experience. The class focuses on core muscle groups while improving balance and coordination. It is a perfect fun fitness class for all levels, regardless of experience, and family-friendly too! Advance Reservation Required, 60-minutes classes for $30 per person.
