This summer marks a milestone for us at Rush Creek Lodge: 10 years of welcoming guests to the doorstep of Yosemite National Park. Since opening in 2016, we’ve had the joy of creating memorable stays for adventurers, families, couples, and nature lovers from around the world.
To celebrate, we’re launching a 10-week anniversary series beginning June 1, filled with surprises, special events, and fun experiences for both overnight guests and our local community.
A Summer of Surprises
Throughout the celebration, arriving guests can enjoy playful anniversary moments, including spinning our Wheel of Fortune at check-in with chances to win a range of commemorative merchandise.
The element of surprise continues over the 10-week period as 10 parties will be greeted upon check-in with the news that one night of their stay is on us!
In July, we will welcome our one millionth guest with a grand surprise celebration.
Rest & Relaxation in the Mountains
Inspired by the growing interest in wellness travel, we’re introducing a new Sleepcation Pampering Package designed to help guests fully unwind in the peaceful Sierra Nevada setting.
This cozy add-on includes two luxurious Rush Creek Spa Robes, a Vital Body Sleep Kit, and hotel slippers, building on the existing Wellness Journeys available as part of Rush Creek Spa Day Use.
Adventure Around Every Corner
We’re bringing even more fun to the property this summer with experiences designed to spark exploration and connection.
Guests can look forward to:
- Spirit of Adventure pop-up bars in rotating locations around the lodge
- Complimentary glass-blowing sessions for children celebrating their 10th birthday
- Special live music experiences planned throughout the season

As part of the anniversary, guests will discover interactive moments around the property that reflect on our journey over the last decade.
These include:
- A 10-stop self-guided property tour with QR codes and behind-the-scenes stories
- Before-and-after moments from the lodge’s evolution
- Insights from designers, artists, and architects who helped shape Rush Creek
- A guest photo wall featuring favorite memories through the years
Labor Day Grand Finale
We’ll close out the celebration over Labor Day Weekend with a lively poolside gathering featuring:

A Decade We’re Proud Of
Over the last 10 years, we’ve grown into a beloved Yosemite destination and reached milestones we’re incredibly proud of, including opening the award-winning Rush Creek Spa, becoming a Certified B Corporation, and earning honors such as Visit California’s Poppy Award for ‘Destination Stewardship & Sustainable Travel’ and Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Award.
Most importantly, we’ve built lasting relationships with guests who return year after year—and we can’t wait to celebrate this milestone summer with you.
