SOME HONORABLE MENTIONS WE LOVED:
Adventure Boys at Carlon Falls, by Cary H.
CH: “The perfect recommendation from the Rec Desk! Just 5 minutes from Rush Creek Lodge … perfect easy hike to this BEAUTIFUL waterfall! Saw some trout, went swimming and headed back to the hotel for lunch and pool. Perfect day!”
RCL: Carlon Falls is one of our favorite local hikes too, especially since you begin the hike in the beautiful Stanislaus National Forest then end up weaving your way into Yosemite National Park!
Spectacular Sunset at Rush Creek, by Cary H.
CH: “Sunset view from our balcony, to be followed by smores around the fire and an evening swim.”
RCL: What a stunning Sierra sunset! Did you know that every room on our property is designed for optimal sunset viewing? The results are easily the perfect way to end your Yosemite adventures!
Friendship and Giggles in the Tree Ring, by Jeff G.
JG: “Phenomenal way to see Yosemite for the first time. The kids LOVED all the activities and amenities. Such a beautiful property with a great staff. ”
RCL: We couldn’t help but smile ear to ear when we saw this photo! This is a perfect encapsulation of childhood joy and friendship. The Tree Ring is a popular spot for photos and can represent a playful reminder of your stay with us. Made of incense cedar and ponderosa pine, the Rush Creek Tree Ring serves as an homage to the Giant Sequoia and is placed in the direct center of our property.
Gazing at Half Dome from Olmsted Point Together, by Paige W.
PW: “Being able to relax outside near the fire pit and ordering food and drinks from the tavern while letting the kids play on the structure and zip line was the BEST! We were driving through Yosemite when we came across Olmsted Point and spontaneously decided to stop. I’m so glad we did because this is a photo we’ll cherish forever!”
RCL: Olmsted Point, off of Tioga Road within Yosemite, is perfect for sunsets, professional photo ops, or just a chance to stretch your legs on the way through Yosemite’s high country. This sweet moment of a family enjoying the view makes us grateful to be able to provide our guests with memories to last for years to come. Happy trails indeed!
