Discover Yosemite’s world-famous Glacier Point overlook and some of Yosemite Valley’s iconic attractions!
After soaking up Glacier Point’s panoramic views, we’ll meander through the Valley, possibly take a swimming break in the Merced River, drop by the legendary Ahwahnee Hotel, or enjoy a shaded picnic in beautiful El Capitan Meadow while watching climbers ascend the world’s largest granite rock face!
Throughout the day, your guide will share his/ her extensive knowledge of Yosemite’s natural and human history, and you’ll learn and discover much more than most who visit the Park.
TRIP TIME
8:45am-4:15pm
GROUP SIZE
Up to 9 participants. Reservations recommended. Contact Recreation Desk for availability and pricing for groups of 8 or more.
PRICE
$215 adult, $135 youth (age 4-15). Includes transportation, naturalist guide, lunch voucher for use in our General Store. Additional $20 park admission fee per adult (waived for Yosemite Annual Pass or America the Beautiful Pass holders).
DIFFICULTY/AGE LIMIT
Participants should be comfortable walking for about an hour at altitudes up to 7,200 ft.
MEETING PLACE
Meet 15 minutes before departure at the Firefall Ranch Front Desk.
The Evergreen Lodge Route picks up at Evergreen Lodge at 8:30am and Rush Creek Lodge at 8:50am.
The Firefall Ranch Route picks up at Firefall Ranch at 8:30am and Rush Creek Lodge at 8:50am.
Both routes pick up at Rush Creek Lodge before entering the park.
WHAT TO BRING
• Small backpack with a minimum of 2 liters of water per person and snacks
• Proper footwear – sturdy tennis shoes, trail runners, or hiking boots
• Layered clothing including wind/rain jacket or sweatshirt
• Bug repellant, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses
• Camera and binoculars (optional)
OTHER INFORMATION
• Our first-aid-certified guides carry first aid kits, permits, maps, radios/cell phones, and water filters
• Guide gratuity is not included; for exemplary service, a 10-20% tip is customary
