All around our 20-acre wooded property, you’ll find lots of fun surprises for kids and adults alike. With daily activities including ping pong, hammocks, and other hidden treasures– we’re certain you’ll find a way to unwind after a day of Yosemite adventures. We can also show you the way to nearby hikes to some of our favorite streams and swimming holes.
At the heart of our Yosemite resort, everyone loves to hang out at our awesome pool area with a large, heated saltwater pool and seasonal Pool Bar serving delicious cocktails, mocktails, and tasty Pool Café treats.

Our friendly, knowledgeable guides host daily talks to introduce you to Yosemite and help you plan your ideal adventures in and around the Park. If you would like to check out some of our affordable adventure gear rentals, our recreation team would be happy to help! We also feature guest speakers for a variety of Yosemite-related topics, including stargazing.
After the sun sets we host periodic nighttime entertainment, with live bands, theme parties, and Karaoke! You’ll receive a copy of the calendar upon check-in, and remember to visit our Recreation Desk for more updates.
Playground
We’re proud to get to feature a one-of-a-kind nature-oriented kid’s playground designed and built by Ron Holthuysen of Scientific Art Studio. Ron is often recognized for his work on the impressive new San Francisco Zoo playground, modeled after three bio-regions of the world, as well as the renowned giant baseball mitt in the outfield playground at the San Francisco Giants’ stadium.
Here at Rush Creek, we’ve got kids’ zip lines, a giant hillside slide, a massive rope swing, a little explorer’s tunnel, and more!
