Rush Creek Lodge at Yosemite is pleased to offer guests a trio of newly created hiking, biking, and nature trails thanks to a cooperative effort from the Rush Creek Recreation team, the Stanislaus National Forest, Groveland Trail Heads, Tuolumne River Trust, and the California Conservation Corps.

The Nature Trail, Vista Trail, and Adventure Trail give guests and visitors the opportunity to experience the Stanislaus National Forest with beautiful views of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. All three trails are adjacent to Rush Creek’s property so you’ll have the added convenience of not having to drive to a trailhead.

Nature Trail

The Nature Trail is a 0.5-mile walking trail designed for a more leisurely and picturesque stroll. Families and individuals looking for a way to stretch their legs after relaxing poolside will appreciate the proximity of the start and end of this trail. Plants and trees unique to the Yosemite area can be found in every direction, giving an added educational bonus.

Vista Trail

The Vista Trail is a moderate 1.6-mile hiking trail that offers brilliant views of the Stanislaus forest, including a Viewpoint with wooden benches to savor a relaxing moment in nature or a stunning Sierra sunset. Every step will feel like a new panoramic view you’ll want to relish as you breathe it all in.

Adventure Trail

The Adventure Trail is a 2.7-mile multi-use trail ideal for mountain bikers as well as hikers looking for slightly more challenging terrain. You may rent one of our bicycles on site or use your own, either way you’ll have a blast traversing this carefully constructed route created with the adventurers in mind.

These nature and hiking trails will be the perfect way to end your long day of travels and begin to let your mind and body unwind into your vacation. After your trail adventures, consider booking a massage with one of our friendly and professional massage therapists. Or maybe tummies will be rumbling and you’ll be ready to dive into some delicious mountain dining in our Restaurant or our Tavern. Another perfect way to end your lovely evening stroll is with stargazing in one of our two hot tubs. Once you retreat back to your room, you’ll have the best night’s sleep to prepare yourself for an exciting day of Yosemite adventures!
