Rush Creek Outdoor Coffee Bar Service Window (Kim Carroll)Same warm hospitality, new safety practices

Times are changing, but Yosemite is still here for you, and so are we.

While the ways in which you enjoy our wonderful lodge and amenities will be a little different this year, our new Clean & Safe program is designed to give you the peace of mind you need to relax and fully enjoy your Yosemite adventure.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We have put in place a broad array of enhanced safety and health practices to ensure everyone has a fantastic experience with us in a safe, clean ‘home away from home’ setting.

Our comprehensive Clean & Safe Program includes all areas of the property and is designed based on the latest guidance and best practices from governmental agencies and industry groups.  There are a lot of changes we will be working to perfect, and our goal is to do so while delivering the same warm hospitality as always.

Rush Creek Responsible Check-in (Kim Carroll)CHECK-IN

Your check-in process will still include a warm and friendly welcome from our awesome Front Desk team but will be streamlined.  We are following the current government mandates requiring guests and employees to wear face coverings if not vaccinated. Our current check-out time is 11 am and our check-in time is 4 pm.

HOUSEKEEPING

Your guest room will receive enhanced pre-arrival full sanitation of hard and soft surfaces, including chemical cleaning of all touchpoints. Stayover service will be optional, and towel, linen, and amenity refresh will be upon request.

Rush Creek Expanded Outdoor Dining Options (Kim Carroll)Tavern Toast to Safe Dining Options (Kim Carroll)DINING

Our restaurant is open with outdoor seating and our culinary team is preparing our usual fresh, delicious cuisine.  New table layouts allow guests to maintain separation and spread out around our various outdoor dining areas, and indoor dining areas when allowed to do so.  For those looking to dine in their rooms, we’ve added enhanced take-out service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  We’re also implementing a host of best practices in the restaurant and our kitchens including appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a clean, safe dining experience for all.

Rush Creek Trail Mix Bar Pre-packaged (Kim Carroll)Rush Creek General Store Responsible Register (Kim Carroll)GENERAL STORE

Our General Store is in action with its usual broad offering, along with extensive grab-and-go meal items.

Rush Creek Outdoor Play Areas (Kim Carroll)COMMON AREAS & ACTIVITIES

We’re taking full advantage of the open-air design of our lodges, providing naturally ventilated indoor and outdoor common areas for onsite activities and relaxation. Our Clean Team is frequently cleaning these areas, and we provide sanitizing wipe stations and hand sanitizer for all, so you can be assured of safety while having fun.  Parental supervision is required to ensure the little ones stay safe.

POOL & HOT TUB

Yes, our saltwater swimming pool and hot tubs are open and ready for good, clean fun!

Fortunately, the virus does not survive in the treated water of pools/hot tubs, but we all still need to practice appropriate physical distancing and sanitizing.

GUIDED RECREATION TRIPS

Our Guided Recreation trips, with guaranteed Park access, are running with enhanced protocols.  We are now offering single group trips when vehicle travel is required. We also provide daily full vehicle sanitizing and practice social distancing protocols when around others inside the Park.

WE ARE ALL A TEAM

We win by working together, and it’s important that every guest do their part as well.

Last but not least, yes, we are carrying on everyone’s favorite tradition of s’mores by the outdoor fire! Communal bowls of supplies have been replaced with individualized s’mores packets and additional outdoor fire pits have been added for social distance marshmallow roasting!
