Pamper yourself after your Yosemite adventures and indulge in our 5,000 square foot spa opening June 2020. Our brand new indoor/outdoor spa is filled with elements inspired by the natural beauty and power of Yosemite while integrating our signature combination with each treatment: stone, sound, scent, and warmth.
The outdoor area is designed with a heated floor providing a cozy environment while still enjoying the fresh air and scenic views of the Sierra Nevada mountain range.
The health benefits of our Aromatherapy Steam Room extend beyond relieving anxiety. Our steam room infused with eucalyptus may alleviate headaches, boost cognition, induce sleep, strengthen the immune system, reduce pain, improve digestion, and increase circulation.
Spending a session in our dry Himalayan Salt Block Sauna aims to increase blood flow under the skin and works to reduce inflammation, redness, swelling, itching, and dryness which can also reduce the frequency and severity of Eczema flare-ups.
Our Cold Mist Shower is a sure way to wake you up before your Yosemite adventures or reduce muscle soreness post-workout. The mist helps increase circulation and calms itchy skin. If you close your eyes, the mist will feel reminiscent of a breeze blowing by a waterfall and gently misting the surrounding area. Warm water option available.
When you step into our Sensory Room, your body will begin to activate your natural senses of hearing, sight, smell, touch, and taste. Weighted blankets are available to elevate the overall sensory experience. Guests will leave the Sensory Room with heightened awareness and improved alertness. The calming effect of this room encourages you to explore the environment and allows you the mental freedom to meditate or let your imagination take you away.
Waterfalls have always been a source of soothing sights and sounds. Our indoor Waterfall Bench is designed to relax and de-stress in today’s busy world. This feature is inspired by a restorative experience had by our Spa Director, Gigi, which she had one day while exploring a local’s favorite hiking spot; Carlon Falls. Gigi wanted to emulate the feeling of sitting on a stone in nature and having a waterfall flow right over your shoulders, massaging and surrounding you. Lower your blood pressure and improve your physical and mental health as you prop your feet up and enjoy the therapeutic effects of Mother Nature.
One of our favorite unique features of the Spa includes two River Rock Beds. There is nothing like the soothing and penetrating heat of stone on the body. Let the healing nature of the heated stones relieve muscle tension and pain, reduce stress, promote a restful night’s sleep, and may relieve symptoms of autoimmune diseases.
